Job Title: Payroll Specialist (Australia, Recent Zealand & India Payroll-Workday)
Location: Hyderabad -Onsite-Mindspace

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist with 5+ years of hands-on experience managing end-to-end payroll operations across Australia, New Zealand, and India. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of payroll processing, statutory compliance, reconciliations, audits, tax regulations, and employee payroll support. The role requires close collaboration with HR, Finance, and payroll vendors to ensure accurate and timely payroll execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for Australia, New Zealand, and India.
- Validate payroll inputs including attendance, overtime, bonuses, deductions, benefits, and leave data.
- Perform payroll reconciliations and audits to ensure payroll accuracy.
- Process off-cycle payroll, final settlements, adjustments, and employee reimbursements.
- Handle employee payroll queries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with country-specific payroll regulations, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with HR, Finance, and external payroll vendors.
- Prepare payroll reports,
payroll journals, and support month-end activities.
- Maintain payroll records while ensuring confidentiality and data security.
- Support payroll system enhancements and process improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of payroll experience with exposure to Australia, New Zealand, and India payroll.
- Strong understanding of
- Australia Payroll (PAYG, Superannuation, STP)
- New Zealand Payroll (PAYE, KiwiSaver, Holidays Act)
- India Payroll (PF, ESI, PT, TDS, Gratuity)
- Experience with payroll systems such as Workday, ADP, SAP, Oracle HCM, or similar.
- Excellent knowledge of payroll reconciliations, audits, and compliance.
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and reporting.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage confidential employee payroll data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or Business Administration.
- Experience working with global payroll vendors.
- Exposure to multi-country payroll environments.
- Payroll certification is an added advantage
