Role Description The Partner role at Ismail & Company is a full-time, on-site position based in Chennai. The Partner will be responsible for overseeing business operations, driving strategic growth, and developing recent market opportunities in environmental protection and spill containment solutions. Daily responsibilities include managing key client relationships, negotiating major contracts, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure product quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

The role also involves monitoring financial performance, contributing to long-term business planning, and representing the company at industry events, client meetings, and partner engagements.



The Partner is expected to provide leadership, support decision-making, and help cultivate a high-performance, customer-focused culture.

Qualifications

- Strong background in business development, sales leadership, or partnership management within industrial, safety, or environmental solutions sectors.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, financial oversight, and driving revenue growth in a corporate or entrepreneurial setting.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships, negotiate complex contracts, and manage key accounts effectively.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, industrial safety standards, and spill containment products or related MRO solutions.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including team management, mentoring, and fostering a culture of integrity and accountability.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
- Comfort working on-site in industrial environments and willingness to engage directly with customers and operational teams in Chennai.
