Role Description The Overseas Student Counselor will provide one-on-one counseling to prospective students, helping them select suitable courses, universities, and destinations based on their academic profile and career aspirations. This is a full time, on-site role based in Kochi, involving regular meetings with students and families, explaining admission procedures, documentation requirements, and visa processes. The counselor will manage inquiries, follow up with leads, maintain accurate records in internal systems, and coordinate with institutions or partners as needed.

Daily tasks include conducting information sessions, reviewing student profiles, updating them on application status,



and ensuring a professional and supportive experience throughout the study abroad journey. The role also includes participation in education fairs, seminars, and promotional activities to increase awareness of the services offered.

Qualifications

- Strong Student Counseling skills, with the ability to guide learners on course, university, and country selection.
- Career Counseling skills to help students align academic choices with long-term professional goals.
- Excellent Communication skills, including clear spoken and written English and the ability to explain complex processes simply.
- Customer Service skills to manage inquiries, build trust with students and families, and maintain positive relationships.
- Background or strong interest in Education, preferably with experience in study abroad or academic advisory services.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; a degree in education, psychology, or related fields is an added advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Kochi, manage multiple cases simultaneously, and maintain organized documentation.
- Familiarity with international education systems, admission requirements, and visa procedures is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and CRM tools for tracking student applications and communication.
