About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and organized Operations Manager with around 2 year of experience in manufacturing/production to join our interior design company.

The candidate will be responsible for coordinating production, materials, vendors, site activities, and internal teams to ensure interior projects are completed efficiently, on time, and according to quality standards.

Your manufacturing and production experience will be valuable in managing processes, manpower, material flow, quality, timelines, and operational coordination within the interior design environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate day-to-day operational activities for interior projects.
- Coordinate between the design, production, procurement, site, vendor, and installation teams.
- Prepare and track production and project schedules.
- Monitor the status of materials, components, and finished products required for projects.
- Coordinate with vendors, carpenters, fabricators, contractors, and suppliers.
- Follow up on material procurement and ensure timely delivery to the production unit or project site.
- Monitor production progress and ensure work is completed according to required specifications and timelines.
- Conduct regular follow-ups to identify and resolve delays or bottlenecks.
- Assist in monitoring quality standards for furniture, fixtures, and interior components.
- Coordinate dispatch and installation schedules with project/site teams.
- Maintain records of production, material consumption, inventory, deliveries, and project status.
- Assist in controlling material wastage and operational costs.




- Coordinate manpower and allocate work according to project requirements.
- Prepare daily/weekly operational and production reports.
- Ensure proper documentation and adherence to company processes.
- Identify operational issues and communicate them to senior management with practical solutions.
- Visit project sites when required to monitor execution and coordinate with the site team.

Requirements

- 2 year of experience in a manufacturing/production workplace.
- Experience in production planning, coordination, inventory, quality, or vendor management will be an advantage.
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, Operations, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Good knowledge of production processes and workflow management.
- Strong coordination and follow-up skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness to learn about interior design, furniture manufacturing, materials, and site execution.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
