Production & Operations Executive

Label Society is looking for a Production & Operations executive to join our growing team in Mumbai. We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the backend operations that keep the brand running smoothly. This is a role for someone who is organised, proactive and good with numbers, but equally comfortable communicating with customers, vendors and our internal team.

You’ll be an important link between what happens behind the scenes and the experience our customers have when they shop with Label Society.

What you’ll be responsible for

- Manage and track orders from placement through production, dispatch and delivery
- Coordinate with our in-house production team to ensure orders are produced and completed within timelines
- Track production status and follow up on pending orders, alterations, corrections and dispatches
- Maintain clear and updated records of order status and production timelines
- Identify bottlenecks and proactively find solutions to keep orders moving
- Coordinate daily dispatches and shipments with our courier/shipping partners
- Track shipments and proactively flag delays, failed deliveries, RTOs and other issues




- Ensure a smooth and timely post-purchase experience for customers
- Handle customer queries and support over email/WhatsApp when required
- Identify recurring customer issues and suggest ways to improve the overall experience
- Maintain accurate stock records across styles, sizes and SKUs
- Track incoming and outgoing stock
- Coordinate with the production team on stock requirements and replenishment
- Track key operational numbers and prepare reports when required
- Help establish simple SOPs and systems as the brand continues to grow

What we’re looking for
- 1–2 years of experience in fashion, D2C, e-commerce, retail or operations is preferred
- Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets
- Comfortable working with numbers, data and detailed trackers
- Strong organisational and follow-up skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Someone who is comfortable speaking to customers and handling difficult situations calmly
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple moving parts at once
- Comfortable working in a small, fast-paced team where roles can be fluid and everyone is hands-on
