BIM Architect – Job Responsibilities

- Develop and manage detailed architectural BIM models using Revit and other BIM software.
- Prepare architectural drawings, layouts, plans, sections, elevations, and detailed documentation.
- Coordinate architectural models with Structural, MEP, and other disciplines to identify and resolve clashes.
- Ensure BIM models comply with project standards, BIM execution plans, and client requirements.
- Perform model quality checks and maintain accuracy, consistency, and required Level of Development (LOD).
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, BIM coordinators, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Create and maintain families, templates, schedules, and other Revit project components as required.
- Participate in design coordination meetings and provide technical solutions to project-related issues.




- Review design drawings and models for constructability, accuracy, and compliance with project requirements.
- Support BIM coordination, clash detection, and resolution using tools such as Navisworks.
- Prepare and update BIM documentation and deliverables as per project timelines.
- Follow company BIM standards, workflows, naming conventions, and quality-control procedures.
- Mentor junior BIM modelers and support the team in improving modeling and documentation practices.
- Coordinate with clients and project stakeholders when required to understand project requirements and deliverables.
- Ensure timely completion of assigned BIM deliverables while maintaining project quality standards.
