Neurodevelopment & Behaviour Wellness Centre (Dr Vamika Child Development & Behaviour Therapy Centre) is a specialized facility focused on evidence-based interventions for children with developmental and emotional challenges. The centre offers behaviour therapy, autism intervention support, parent training, and programs for emotional and social skill development. Services are structured, ethical, and goal-oriented, drawing on scientifically validated behavioural principles, including methods derived from Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA). Led by a behaviour therapy professional with a strong background in counselling psychology and behavioural interventions, the centre emphasizes measurable progress and transparent communication with families. Located in Hyderabad, the centre views therapy as a collaborative process between therapist, child, and family.

Role Description The Occupational Therapist will provide on-site therapeutic services to children with neurodevelopmental, behavioural, and emotional needs at the Hyderabad centre. This full-time role includes assessing sensory, motor, and functional abilities; planning and delivering individualized occupational therapy intervention programs; and collaborating with behaviour therapists to ensure integrated care.

The Occupational

Therapist will work closely with parents and caregivers, offering guidance and training to support therapy goals at home and school.



Daily responsibilities also involve maintaining accurate documentation, tracking measurable outcomes, and participating in case reviews and interdisciplinary discussions. The role requires a client-centered approach, ethical practice, and consistent communication with families and the clinical team.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Occupational Therapy, including assessment, intervention planning, and pediatric-focused therapeutic techniques.
- Candidates should possess foundational knowledge in Medicine and Rehabilitation to understand neurodevelopmental conditions and functional recovery principles.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills to engage effectively with children, families, and multidisciplinary team members.
- Candidates should possess experience or interest in Pediatrics, particularly in working with children with developmental and behavioural challenges.
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from a recognized institution.
- Registration or licensure with appropriate professional bodies, as applicable.
- Prior experience in pediatric neurodevelopmental or behavioural settings is highly beneficial.
- Ability to work ethically, maintain detailed clinical records, and contribute to a collaborative, child-centered environment.
