Role Description The Nursery Plants Hardening Supervisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Alipur Delhi Polyhouse and Nethouse. This role is responsible for overseeing the hardening process of tissue culture plants, ensuring that plantlets transition successfully from laboratory conditions to nursery environments. Day-to-day tasks include supervising nursery staff, monitoring plant health and growth, coordinating watering, fertilization, and pest management routines, and maintaining cleanliness and order in the hardening area.

The supervisor will plan and implement plant operations schedules, maintain records of batches and survival rates, and coordinate with the lab team to align nursery activities with production targets. The role also involves training team members on standard operating procedures,



enforcing safety and quality guidelines, and conducting regular inspections to ensure that nursery infrastructure and equipment are well maintained.

Qualifications

- Strong supervisory skills with experience leading and engaging nursery or plant operations teams.
- Hands-on expertise in plant operations, including handling tissue culture plantlets and managing hardening processes.
- Knowledge of plant maintenance practices, including irrigation, nutrition management, pest and disease control, and environmental monitoring.
- Experience with preventive maintenance of nursery infrastructure and equipment to ensure reliable day-to-day operations.
- Ability to train and coach staff on nursery procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Diploma or degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Biotechnology, or a related field preferred.
- Familiarity with plant tissue culture workflows and nursery best practices is an advantage.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and capacity to maintain accurate records and reports.
- Ability to work on-site in Sonipat and adapt to outdoor and greenhouse working conditions.

Work Experience : Minimum 3 Years of Working experience in growing tissue culture plants

Education Qualification : Minimum Bachelors degree in the relevant field
