We are looking for a skilled Node.js Backend Developer with strong expertise in TypeScript and modern backend development practices. The ideal candidate should have experience building scalable, production-grade applications using microservices architecture, designing robust REST APIs, and working with SQL and NoSQL databases. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to build high-performance, secure, and maintainable backend services.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Node.js and TypeScript.

- Build and maintain RESTful APIs following industry best practices.

- Develop and support microservices-based architectures, ensuring reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance.

- Integrate backend services with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards.

- Create and maintain API documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger.

- Implement unit and integration tests to ensure application quality and reliability.

- Containerize applications using Docker and support deployment processes.

- Participate in code reviews, Git workflows, and collaborative development practices.

- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize application performance, and ensure system stability.

- Work closely with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Required Skills

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js development building production-grade backend applications.

- Strong proficiency in TypeScript, including: Interfaces, Generics, Strict typing, and Integration with Node.js frameworks

- Experience designing and implementing microservices.

- Strong understanding of: Service decomposition, REST-based inter-service communication Fault tolerance





- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL, with experience in API design and documentation using OpenAPI/Swagger.

- Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

- Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Redis.

- Working knowledge of Docker for containerization.

- Strong understanding of Git workflows, including branching strategies, pull requests, and collaborative development.

- Experience writing unit and integration tests using Jest, Mocha, or Supertest.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Next.js (SSR, SSG, App Router, and React Server Components) and/or NestJS for building scalable full-stack and backend applications.

- Experience with CI/CD tools such as: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, and Jenkins

- Basic understanding of Kubernetes and container orchestration.
