Technical Architect - .NET | Azure Experience: 12-16+ Years

Summary Are you a hands-on Technical/Solution Architect passionate about building modern, scalable and cloud-native enterprise platforms?

Our client is looking for a Technical Architect with deep expertise in C#, .NET, Azure, distributed systems, APIs, microservices and platform engineering. The role offers an opportunity to shape the target architecture of modern platforms while remaining closely involved in engineering and delivery.

You will work on designing secure, resilient, highly configurable and scalable enterprise platforms, driving architecture decisions and mentoring engineering teams across globally distributed environments.

Responsibilities

- Define and evolve the target architecture for .NET-based distributed platforms, ensuring scalability, resilience, security and maintainability.
- Lead solution design across ASP.NET Core, REST APIs, microservices, event-driven architecture, background processing and enterprise integrations.
- Architect Azure-native solutions leveraging services such as AKS, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault and cloud observability platforms.
- Drive architecture decisions around performance, scalability,



availability, disaster recovery, security, DevSecOps and cost efficiency.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance to engineering teams, review critical designs, mentor senior engineers and establish reusable architecture patterns and standards.

Requirements

- 12-16+ years of IT experience with significant experience as a Solution Architect / Technical Architect and strong hands-on expertise in C#, .NET / .NET Core / .NET 8 and ASP.NET Core.
- Strong experience architecting distributed systems, microservices, asynchronous messaging, event-driven architectures and API-led integrations.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft Azure, preferably across AKS, App Services, Functions, API Management, Service Bus, Event Grid, Key Vault, monitoring and identity services.
- Strong understanding of SQL Server/PostgreSQL, database architecture, performance tuning, containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD and modern DevSecOps practices.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to balance business needs, engineering quality, delivery speed and long-term architecture goals.
