TASL – Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) Division
Location: Bengaluru – Devanahalli
TASL's MRO Division provides maintenance, repair, overhaul and lifecycle support for aircraft platforms, with a solid focus on ensuring airworthiness, operational readiness, safety and quality compliance. The MRO operations bring together skilled aircraft maintenance professionals, engineering, planning, quality, supply chain and specialized inspection capabilities to support complex aircraft maintenance programs.
Role Overview The NDT Inspector -Level 2 is responsible for performing and supervising non-destructive testing activities on aircraft components and structures in compliance with DGCA regulations, OEM manuals, and applicable international standards. The role ensures continued airworthiness by identifying defects, interpreting inspection results, and supporting maintenance operations within an approved MRO organization.
Qualifications
- B. Tech / Diploma in Engineering / AME
- Valid NDT Level II Certification (NAS 410 / EN 4179) in Ultrasonic Inspection from UK NANDTB Approved Institute. Level 2 in other methods is added advantage.
Experience
- 3–5 years in DGCA-approved MRO or Aircraft Assembly or Aircraft Component Manufacturing.
- Hands-on experience in Composite component inspection using UT
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) using UT.
- Gathered OJT in other methods under level 2 supervision.
- Conduct inspections as per DGCA CAR, OEM manuals (AMM/CMM/SRM), and approved procedures
- Interpret test results and evaluate defects against acceptance criteria
- Prepare inspection reports and maintain traceability documentation
- Coordinate with AMEs and maintenance teams for timely inspections
- Ensure equipment calibration and compliance with safety standards
- Support audits and adhere to QMS and DGCA requirements
Key Skills
- Knowledge of DGCA regulations and airworthiness standards

- Strong analytical and documentation skills
- Attention to detail and safety awareness
