Job Summary Position: Quality Analyst (5-4) Assembly Quality

Location: Pune

Business Unit: Automotive

Job Overview Supports quality assurance activities within manufacturing, focusing on real-time defect prevention and problem resolution.

Responsibilities

- Ensure process controls adherence to meet product quality requirements
- Handling non-conformity on shop floor and ensuring corrective actions with systematic approach
- Management of Customer complaints, queries Customer audits
- Driving continuous improvement projects through problem solving approach to reduce COPQ
- Monitor critical and special characteristics during the assembly process.
- Lead a team of quality inspectors and allocate inspection responsibilities
- Preparation of Control plan, Quality Guide, Poka-Yoke Sheets etc. relevant to Quality Controls
- Training the shop floor team on product quality as per requirements
- Coordinate containment activities for internal and customer quality issues
- Support customer audits, certification audits, and process audits

Skills





- Hands-on experience in Assembly process, specifically in automotive industry
- Excellent problem solving and analytical Skills
- Knowledge of PPAP, Control plan, FMEA, MSA, SPC
- Demonstrated experience of working in a quick paced and changing environment with tight deadlines
- Knowledge and practical experience of Six Sigma Green Belt (Preferrable)
- Knowledge of IATF19649 ISO 9001 standard requirements
- Strong technical aptitude with willingness to explore learn new Technologies
- Good English communication along with hands on experience in MS Office tools

Qualifications

- B.E./ B.Tech. in Mechanical / Production / Automobile engineering
- 3+ years of working experience
