Job Profile

- Process Monitoring: Moniter regular inspections on the shop floor (line patrol). Check critical parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time, etc.). Ensure SOPs, Control Plans, and Work Instructions are followed.
- In-Process Inspection: Responsible for Conducting stage-wise inspection (first-off, in-process, last-off).
- Verify product against drawing/specifications
- Quality Control Tools: Maintain check sheets and inspection records. Monitor Cp/Cpk, SPC charts. Perform MSA (Gauge R&R; support)
- Defect Identification & Control: Identify defects like: Short molding, flash (Injection molding). Orange peel, dust, paint peel-off (Paint shop). Stop production in case of major quality issues. Segregate and control non-conforming parts.
- Root Cause & Corrective Action: Support in RCA using: Why. Fishbone (Ishikawa). Implement corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain all reports, rejection data, and daily quality reports.



Update quality boards and dashboards. Report issues to senior quality / production team
- Coordination: Work closely with production, maintenance, and QA team. Support audits (internal / customer / IATF)
- Skills Required: Knowledge of: 7 QC Tools; APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan; Basic drawing reading (GD&T; is a plus); Hands-on with measuring instruments; Problem-solving mindset
- Customer complaints: Line stoppage due to quality. ?? Example (Automotive / Injection Molding). Check molded parts for sink marks, warpage, short shot. Ensure correct material & color change control. Monitor machine parameters and mold condition
