Motion Graphics Designer

We’re looking for a Motion Graphics Designer who can bring digital experiences to life through thoughtful graphic animation, motion systems, and UI interaction design.

Eighty Days is building a recent way to discover the world centred on taste, trust, and personal context. Today, travel discovery is fragmented across social media, search, and private conversations. We are creating a product that brings this together into a structured, map-based experience where recommendations are attributed, meaningful, and built over time.

Our focus is not just on helping people plan trips, but on becoming the place where they continuously save, organise, and revisit places that matter.

What you’ll do

- Create motion graphics, animations, and transitions for our product and brand.
- Design UI interactions and micro-interactions that make the product feel polished and intuitive.
- Animate screens, components, icons, illustrations, and other visual assets.




- Collaborate with developers to ensure animations are technically feasible and implemented accurately.

What we’re looking for

- 2+ years of experience in motion design, animation, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of timing, easing, transitions, composition, and visual storytelling.
- Experience with tools such as After Effects, Figma, Rive, Lottie, or similar.
- Strong visual design fundamentals and attention to detail.
- Ability to take an idea from concept → animation → prototype → developer handoff.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating both motion work and digital/UI interactions.

Bonus points

- Understanding of how animations are implemented in iOS & android.
- Experience designing motion systems for consumer apps.
- Illustration or 3D experience.
- Great to have worked in a fast paced product-based startup.
