Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Middle Tier / Web Service Developer (C#) with 6+ to 10 years of hands-on software development experience to design, develop, enhance, and maintain scalable middle-tier applications and web services.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, .NET/.NET Core, Web API, REST/SOAP services, SQL Server, and backend application development, with a solid understanding of enterprise application architecture and integration.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain middle-tier applications and web services using C# and .NET technologies.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, Web APIs, and SOAP-based web services.
- Build scalable and high-performance backend services and business logic.
- Translate business and technical requirements into robust software solutions.
- Develop integrations between applications, databases, and external systems.
- Write efficient, maintainable, and reusable C#/.NET code.
- Work with SQL Server to develop queries, stored procedures, and database integrations.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application and production issues.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, and participate in code reviews.
- Ensure applications meet performance, security, scalability, and reliability requirements.
- Work closely with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and other developers.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities, sprint planning, and technical discussions.
- Create and maintain technical documentation for services and integrations.

Required Skills & Experience

- 6+ to 10 years of professional software development experience — Mandatory.




- Strong hands-on experience with C#.
- Strong experience with .NET / .NET Core / ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core.
- Hands-on experience developing Web Services and Web APIs.
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and SOAP Web Services.
- Experience working with JSON, XML, HTTP/HTTPS, and API integrations.
- Strong experience with SQL Server and SQL.
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming and software design principles.
- Experience developing business logic and middle-tier/application-service components.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Git or other source-control systems.
- Good understanding of SDLC and Agile development methodologies.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

- Experience with Microservices architecture.
- Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of messaging technologies and enterprise integration patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, or similar technologies.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise applications.

Education Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is a strong backend/middle-tier C#/.NET developer who has significant experience building and supporting enterprise-level web services and APIs. Candidates whose experience is primarily focused on front-end development (Angular/React/UI) without strong middle-tier/backend development experience will not be a positive fit.

Important: Candidates must have 6+ years of relevant professional experience, with strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET, Web Services/Web API, and SQL Server.
