About the Role

Analytical Intelligence International is hiring a well-rounded Microsoft Fabric Data Engineer / Developer to support presales, solution design, implementation, and delivery for client-facing modern data platform projects.

This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in data engineering and Power BI , who can work across the full lifecycle of a Microsoft Fabric solution — from SaaS data ingestion and transformation, to semantic model design, reporting, governance, and emerging AI/Fabric IQ capabilities.

You will work across a variety of client scenarios, including:

- SaaS system integration into Fabric
- Data engineering and transformation pipelines
- Lakehouse / warehouse design
- Power BI semantic model and report development
- Fabric administration, configuration, and support
- Fabric IQ / Data Agent setup
- Data governance and environment assessments
- Hybrid environments involving Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement Microsoft Fabric-based data solutions for client engagements
- Build and optimize ingestion pipelines from SaaS platforms, databases, APIs, files, and external systems
- Develop lakehouse, warehouse, and medallion-style data models in Fabric
- Create Power BI semantic models, DAX measures, and business-ready reports/dashboards
- Design robust dimensional models and support reporting performance optimization
- Support presales discovery, solution architecture, effort estimation, and technical positioning
- Configure and support Fabric environments, capacities, workspaces, security, and deployment practices
- Integrate Fabric with Databricks, ADF, Power BI, SQL platforms, and related Azure services where needed




- Help define governance standards for data quality, access control, lineage, and semantic consistency
- Explore and implement Fabric IQ, Data Agents, and related AI capabilities where appropriate
- Troubleshoot solution issues across ingestion, modeling, performance, and reporting layers
- Work directly with internal and client stakeholders to translate business needs into practical technical solutions

Required Skills and Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric
- Strong experience in data engineering
- Solid experience with Power BI semantic models and reporting
- Robust SQL skills
- Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration patterns
- Experience with Databricks , Azure Data Factory, or similar data engineering platforms
- Strong understanding of dimensional modeling and analytics design
- Experience working with APIs, SaaS systems, flat files, and relational sources
- Familiarity with governance, security, and enterprise data management practices
- Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and business stakeholders

Nice to Have
- Fabric IQ / Data Agents experience
- Copilot / AI-enabled analytics experience
- Experience with Direct Lake, Lakehouse, Warehouse, and Real-Time Intelligence
- Experience supporting presales or client solution workshops
- Microsoft certifications in Fabric, Power BI, Azure Data, or related areas
