About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and customer-focused Merchandiser to coordinate product development activities for our clients. The role will act as a key link between customers and internal teams, helping translate client requirements into clear product specifications and ensuring that projects progress smoothly from initial enquiry through development and delivery of Home textile products.

The successful candidate will also support customer service and marketing activities, including responding to client enquiries, preparing product information, tech packs, collecting market feedback, and assisting with marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Product Development Coordination

- Coordinate product development projects for new and existing clients from initial enquiry through sample approval and commercial launch.
- Understand client requirements and convert them into clear product briefs for internal teams.
- Work closely with product development, production, quality, procurement, and sales teams to ensure timely project completion.
- Coordinate product samples, specifications, packaging requirements, and client approvals.
- Communicate development progress, technical clarifications, and expected completion dates to clients.
- Maintain accurate records of product specifications, sample submissions, approvals, modifications, and project status.
- Identify potential delays or issues and escalate them to the appropriate teams for resolution.

Client Relations and Customer Service





- Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients during the product development process.
- Respond professionally and promptly to customer enquiries, requests, complaints, and follow-up actions.
- Build positive relationships with clients by providing clear communication and reliable support.
- Coordinate internally to resolve customer concerns related to products, samples, quality, documentation, or delivery.
- Collect customer feedback and share relevant insights with internal teams to improve products and services.
- Maintain accurate customer records and ensure that all commitments and action items are followed through.

Marketing Support

- Assist in preparing product presentations, catalogues, brochures, quotations, and other client-facing materials.
- Support marketing activities
- Conduct basic market and competitor research to identify customer needs, market trends, and potential opportunities.
- Maintain updated product information, photographs, specifications, and marketing content.

Reporting and Administration

- Prepare regular reports on product development projects, customer enquiries, approvals, and pending actions.
- Update customer relationship management systems, project trackers, or internal databases.




- Organize client meetings and prepare meeting agendas, minutes, and action lists.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Business Administration, Engineering, Commerce, or a related field.
- 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in product coordination, customer service, sales support, marketing, merchandising, or a similar role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Good organizational and project coordination abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple client requests and development projects simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook. (Canva and Illustrator skill is an advantage)
- Customer-oriented mindset with a professional and solution-focused approach.
