Senior Executive/Assistant Manager

Role

This Role requires a dynamic and detail-oriented qualified to manage end-to-end merchandise operations along with ecommerce fulfilment activities. The ideal candidate should have experience in procurement, vendor coordination, merchandise production execution, ecommerce order management, and basic financial understanding.

Key Deliverables

Merchandise Management

- Coordinate with vendors for sourcing, procurement, and production of merchandise products.
- Manage end-to-end merchandise development from concept to final delivery.
- Work closely with design teams to execute product designs, packaging, and branding requirements.
- Ensure quality control and timely production schedules with manufacturers and suppliers.
- Negotiate pricing, timelines, and commercial terms with vendors.
- Monitor inventory levels and maintain stock availability.

Vendor & Production Coordination
- Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and logistics partners.
- Track production timelines and ensure on-time execution of orders.
- Resolve production or supply chain issues efficiently.
- Maintain records related to purchase orders, quotations, and vendor agreements.

Ecommerce Operations
- Handle ecommerce order management in our Website.
- Coordinate dispatch, shipment tracking, and delivery operations.




- Ensure timely order fulfilment and smooth customer experience.
- Monitor returns, replacements, and inventory reconciliation.
- Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams for daily operations.

Financial & Operational Understanding
- Basic understanding of costing, margins, pricing structures, and profitability.
- Track purchase costs, vendor payments, and operational expenses.
- Generate operational and sales reports for management review.

Reporting to Manager Communications & Digital Marketing (Chennai HQ)

Candidate Specifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Ecommerce, Fashion Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field.
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of procurement and production processes.
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms, OMS, dispatch, and logistics handling.
- Good understanding of inventory management and supply chain operations.
- Good financial and commercial acumen.
- High Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting tools.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities

Qualification Bachelor’s degree in Business, Ecommerce, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field.

Experience

2–6 years of experience in merchandise management and ecommerce operations.
