– Project Manager – MEP Project: Data Centre Projects
Position: Project Manager – MEP
Location: Bangalore, Karnataka
Employment Type: Third-Party Payroll
About the Role We are looking for an experienced Project Manager – MEP to lead and manage MEP execution for a large-scale Data Centre project in Bangalore. The role will be responsible for end-to-end MEP project delivery, ensuring timely execution, quality, safety, coordination and successful testing, commissioning and handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end MEP execution for Data Centre projects from planning through testing, commissioning and handover.
- Manage project execution in line with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the client, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal project teams.
- Review and coordinate MEP drawings, technical submittals, material approvals, method statements and shop drawings.
- Manage Electrical, HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, ELV and other MEP services as applicable to the project.
- Monitor project progress against approved timelines, milestones and execution plans.
- Ensure adequate manpower, materials, equipment and resources are available for timely project execution.
- Identify project risks, technical issues and site constraints and drive timely resolution.
- Coordinate closely with Civil, Structural, Architectural and other project teams to ensure seamless MEP integration.
- Monitor contractors and subcontractors for productivity, workmanship, quality and adherence to project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and applicable statutory standards.
- Conduct regular progress meetings with contractors, consultants and stakeholders.
- Prepare and review project progress reports, MIS, trackers and other project documentation.
- Monitor testing and commissioning activities and ensure proper system readiness.
- Drive project handover, snag closure, as-built documentation and final close-out.
- Support cost control, variation management and resource planning for MEP works.
- Maintain strong stakeholder and contractor relationships throughout project execution.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or relevant MEP discipline.
- 12–15 years of overall experience in MEP project execution and management.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant Data Centre project experience.
- Strong experience in managing large-scale MEP installations and project delivery.
- Experience in PMC / Project Management / Construction Management environments will be an advantage.
- Solid knowledge of MEP coordination, testing and commissioning.
- Proven experience in contractor and subcontractor management.
- Strong project planning, execution and problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of project schedules, drawings, specifications and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to independently manage multiple MEP workstreams and drive project milestones.

Preferred Experience Candidates with experience in mission-critical environments, Data Centres, large commercial projects, industrial projects or other technically complex infrastructure projects will be preferred.
Employment This position will be engaged on a third-party payroll and will be deployed at the Bangalore Data Centre project site.
Candidates should have strong hands-on Data Centre MEP project experience and be willing to work from the project site in Bangalore.
