About the Role

As a Merchant Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, acquiring and building relationships with quality merchant partners across key categories. As GoerTrip scales, the role will also contribute to membership acquisition through merchant partnerships, local activations and community outreach.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify, prospect, and onboard high-quality merchants across assigned territories and categories.
- Conduct sales presentations, negotiate commercial terms, and close partnership agreements.
- Coordinate merchant onboarding, documentation, and activation with the Operations team.
- Build strong relationships with business owners and act as their primary business partner.
- Support merchants in launching offers, cashback programs, and promotional campaigns.
- Monitor merchant performance and identify opportunities for growth and engagement.
- Execute in-store promotions, roadshows, exhibitions, and merchant-led membership drives.
- Drive B2C membership acquisition through referrals, community events,



corporate partnerships, and local marketing initiatives.
- Gather market intelligence, competitor insights, and customer feedback to improve business performance.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and activity reports using CRM tools.

What We're Looking For

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or a related field.
- 3–6 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, retail, hospitality, banking, telecom or marketplace businesses.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Sales-driven and target-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable working in the field and managing multiple stakeholders.
- CRM and MS Office familiarity.
