Role Description This full-time remote Medical Scribe role supports clinicians by documenting patient encounters in real time within electronic health records.
The Medical
Scribe reviews patient histories, records physical examinations, diagnostic tests, procedures, and treatment plans with high accuracy and clarity. Daily tasks include organizing clinical notes, updating charts, and ensuring that documentation meets regulatory, compliance, and billing requirements that align with Beacon 360’s revenue cycle standards. The role collaborates closely with providers and clinical staff through secure communication tools, helping reduce administrative burden and improve documentation quality.
The Medical
Scribe is expected to maintain confidentiality,
follow established workflows, and consistently meet productivity and quality benchmarks in a remote environment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated scribe experience, with the ability to accurately capture clinical encounters and organize medical documentation.
- Solid knowledge of medical terminology and human anatomy to understand and translate provider notes into clear, structured records.
- Background in medical assisting or clinical support roles, with familiarity in workflows, procedures, and basic healthcare operations.
- Strong communication skills, including clear written documentation and professional interaction with clinicians and team members in a remote setting.
- High attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently while meeting documentation quality and productivity expectations.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic computer tools; comfortable working entirely online.
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient privacy requirements; commitment to regulatory and compliance standards.
- Relevant training or certification as a medical scribe, medical assistant, or healthcare documentation specialist is preferred.
