Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Lab Technician to perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently. The candidate will be responsible for sample collection, processing, testing, documentation, equipment handling, and maintaining quality standards while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities

- Collect blood and other clinical samples from patients as per standard procedures.
- Receive, identify, label, process, and store samples correctly.
- Perform routine laboratory investigations as assigned.
- Operate and maintain laboratory analyzers and equipment.
- Perform hematology, biochemistry, clinical pathology, and other routine laboratory tests.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all laboratory activities.
- Ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.
- Perform internal quality control procedures and maintain QC records.
- Identify and report abnormal or critical results to the concerned senior staff/pathologist.
- Maintain proper documentation, worksheets, registers, and laboratory records.
- Ensure proper sample handling, storage, and disposal of biomedical waste.
- Perform daily equipment checks and report any malfunction or technical issues.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards within the laboratory.
- Assist during calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.




- Ensure adequate availability of reagents, consumables, and other laboratory supplies.
- Follow NABL/quality-management requirements and laboratory safety procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and qualified conduct.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, reception, and other departments when required.
- Assist in audits, inspections, and quality-related activities.
- Perform other laboratory duties assigned by the management or senior laboratory staff.

Requirements

- DMLT / B.Sc. MLT / M.Sc. MLT or equivalent qualification.
- 0–3 years of experience in a diagnostic laboratory or hospital laboratory.
- Fresher’s with relevant qualifications may also apply.
- Good knowledge of laboratory procedures and sample handling.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to enter laboratory data accurately.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy diagnostic environment.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month
