About the Role

Desmania Design is looking for a strategic, entrepreneurial professional to work directly with the CEO and help drive the company’s next phase of growth in India and globally.

This is not a conventional marketing role. The person will identify new markets, recent verticals and new opportunities where design can create business value, and help convert them into revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify new business verticals and emerging opportunities for Desmania.
- Develop and execute strategies for global business development.
- Research markets, industries, competitors and potential clients/partners.
- Develop new design-led business propositions and service offerings.
- Build strategic relationships with prospective clients and partners.
- Create pitches, presentations, market maps and opportunity briefs.
- Work closely with the CEO on strategic initiatives and special projects.
- Track leads and opportunities through to RFPs and business conversion.





Ideal Candidate

- Graduate/postgraduate from NID – Strategic Design Management, Welingkar – Business Design, or an equivalent programme from a reputed institution.
- 3–5 years of industry experience in strategy, business development, consulting, innovation, design management or marketing strategy.
- Strong understanding of design + business.
- Excellent research, communication and presentation skills.
- Entrepreneurial, curious and comfortable exploring new and unfamiliar markets.
- International exposure or experience in global business development is an advantage.

What Success Looks Like The person should help Desmania discover new opportunities, open new markets, build a global pipeline and convert strategic possibilities into business.

This is a high-visibility role working directly with the CEO, with significant scope to shape Desmania’s future growth.
