Job Summary
The Marketing Manager is instrumental in driving the growth and market penetration for our portfolio of shows. The incumbent will determine the total addressable market size, identify growth opportunities across key industries and segments, and devise strategies for audience expansion. This position is responsible for nurturing relationships with associations, analysts, influencers, media, and industry bodies, acting as the shows onsite lead. This role involves close collaboration with the sales team to align on enablement and account-based marketing (ABM) plans and acting as the customers voice to inform our Insight programs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a marketing plan for allocated shows, aligning with the EVP and Portfolio marketing strategy. Establish market size, penetration, and identify growth opportunities across key industries and segments.
- Proposing and implementing audience growth strategies along with managing relationships with associations, analysts, influencers, media, and industry bodies
- Leading onsite at shows and represents our brand at external market/industry-specific events. Developing detailed visitor and exhibitor marketing plans and objectives.
- Working with the Sales team on enablement and ABM plans.
- Collaborating on the creation of campaign activation plans, including defined outcomes,
with the Content Engagement Executive and Campaign Lead.
- Outlining core and campaign content needs, integrating into the content calendar plan in conjunction with the Content Engagement Lead.
- Support budget planning and analysis alongside the Marketing Director. Maintaining ROI and performance reporting with the Campaign Manager Mops.
- Contributing to the event brand strategy with Marketing Director Creative Manager and assisting in portfolio PR planning with Marketing Director.
Requirements
- At least 8-10 years of experience in Marketing, preferably within a similar industry but not restricted to exhibitions.
- Experience in market analysis, campaign management, and strategic planning
- Exceptional understanding of marketing principles and audience growth strategies.
- Proficient in establishing market size and identifying growth opportunities.
- Skilled in relationship management with external stakeholders.
- Solid experience in sales alignment and account-based marketing.
- Exceptional communication and analytical skills.
