Job Summary:

At PwC, our Operations Consulting professionals specialize in enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness. They analyze client needs, develop operational strategies, and provide guidance to help streamline processes, improve productivity, and elevate business performance.

PwCs Operations Transformation, Physical Product Development & Manufacturing (PPDM) Quality team partners with organizations across Pharmaceuticals and Life Sciences, Medical Devices, and Health Industries to modernize Quality end to end. We help clients design digital-first Quality operating models, re-engineer QMS processes, and embed scientific and operational excellence, linking patient safety and regulatory compliance (CSV/GxP) to measurable business performance.

In this role, you will lead Quality transformations across Digital Quality, QMS and process optimization. You will assess maturity, define roadmaps, implement and scale solutions such as eQMS integrations and analytics, enable inspection readiness, and coach client teams. You will also guide clients in adopting cutting-edge technologiesincluding AI, GenAI, and Agentic AIto unlock value and enable enterprise-wide transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

Digital Quality & AI Transformation

Shape AI-enabled Quality strategies by assessing client readiness, identifying high-value use cases (e.g., intelligent deviation detection, autonomous CAPA management, AI-driven inspection readiness), and defining roadmaps for Digital Quality modernization aligned to Quality 5.0

Lead development, testing, and deployment of ML/GenAI and Agentic AI models for quality and manufacturing analytics using platforms such as AWS, Databricks, or Palantir Foundry

Design and implement quality data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, lineage, MDM,



and controls to support reliable analytics and AI model performance; partner with IT and client data owners to improve data structures required for deviation analytics, supplier risk scoring, and batch release forecasting

AI Model Development & Deployment:

¢ Lead development, testing, and deployment of ML/GenAI models for PPDM Quality team using platforms such as AWS, Databricks, or Palantir Foundry

QMS & Process Optimization

¢ Assess QMS maturity, define improvement roadmaps, and implement solutions across Change Control, CAPA, Deviations, Document/Record Management, Data Integrity, and Inspection Management

¢ Lead eQMS platform implementations (e.g., Veeva, Sparta/TrackWise), including platform architecture, configuration, integrations with adjacent systems (MES/LIMS/ERP), and real-time dashboards and analytics

¢ Apply GxP operational controls to ensure compliance across digital quality systems

Knowledge Transfer & Capability Building

¢ Conduct workshops and training sessions to transfer knowledge on new tools, technologies (including AI/GenAI), and process changes to both clients and internal teams

¢ Coach client quality teams to embed data-driven decision-making, AI tool adoption, and change management practices into day-to-day quality operations

Stakeholder & Engagement Management

¢ Manage complex client engagements and project workstreams with minimal supervision, building trusted relationships with stakeholders across varied business contexts

¢ Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses including benchmarking, root cause analysis, and operational assessments; communicate findings effectively across stakeholder levels

¢ Support business development activities including proposal development, solution design, and client pitches

Knowledge Preferred:

AI, GenAI & Emerging Technologies

- Conceptual and applied understanding of ML, GenAI, and Agentic AI including model types, limitations, and quality-relevant use cases such as deviation prediction, document intelligence, and inspection readiness scoring
- Hands-on experience with Agentic AI development environments including Cursor, VS Code, Visual Studio, Vercel, GitHub/GitHub Copilot, and prompt engineering principles
- Understanding of cloud platform architectures (AWS, Azure, Databricks, Palantir Foundry) and how they support data pipelines, model training, and deployment in GxP contexts

Digital Quality & AI Platforms

- Experience with eQMS platforms (e.g., Veeva, Sparta/TrackWise), platform architecture, configuration, and integrations with adjacent systems (MES/LIMS/ERP)
- Ability to define Digital Quality maturity roadmaps aligned to Quality 4.0; experience building real-time dashboards and analytics
- Familiarity with AI/ML and GenAI applications in quality contexts, including autonomous deviation detection, intelligent contract and document insights, and predictive quality analytics
- Proficiency in analytics and visualization tools including PowerBI, Alteryx,



Databricks notebooks, or equivalent

QMS, Compliance & Validation

- End-to-end QMS process expertise: Change Control, CAPA, Deviations, Document/Record Management, Data Integrity, Inspection Management
- Strong command of GxP operational controls

Data Governance & Analytics

- Ability to design and implement data governance frameworks ensuring data quality, lineage, and MDM to support AI model performance and regulatory compliance
- Experience with data pipeline tooling and integration of digital tools into existing ERP environments

Skills Preferred:

- Leading and delivering significant business results by applying strategic thinking, structured problem-solving, innovation and taking individual initiative
- Managing complex client engagements and project workstreams with minimal supervision
- Building and sustaining trusted relationships with team members/clients and driving client value
- Communicating effectively across varied business contexts and stakeholder levels (verbal and written)
- Performing quantitative and qualitative analyses including benchmarking, root cause analysis, and operational assessments
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and mentor junior consultants
- Experience with digital quality systems including Veeva, TrackWise, ETQ etc.; certifications or implementation experience in eQMS and Computer System Validation/Configuration is highly desirable
- Exposure to or experience in business development (e.g., proposal development, solution design, client pitches) is preferred
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools, analytics platforms or Agentic AI environments is a strong differentiator

Qualifications:

Educational Background:

- Bachelors in pharmacy, Life Sciences, or Engineering desirable
- MBA in Operations preferred; advanced degree or relevant certifications in Analytics, AI/ML, Supply Chain, or Quality is a strong advantage
- Professional certifications in Business Analytics, AI/ML, PowerBI, Alteryx, RPA, Palantir Foundry, eQMS, are highly valued

Past Experience:

- Prior relevant work experience aligned with the required knowledge and skills
- Senior Associate: 4 to7 years of relevant experience in quality transformation, digital quality, or operations consulting within Pharma, Life Sciences, or Medical Devices
- Associate: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
- Experience with technology-driven transformation, AI/analytics enablement, RPA, process enablement, or Agentic AI development/deployment in a quality or manufacturing context is a strong plus
