Role Description This is a full-time, in office Manufacturing Engineer role based in Varanasi.

The Manufacturing

Engineer will oversee and improve production processes for ice cream and related products, ensuring consistent quality, efficiency, and safety.

Responsibilities include designing and optimizing manufacturing workflows, coordinating with operations and maintenance teams, and implementing best practices for equipment usage and process control. The role involves monitoring production data, troubleshooting issues on the shop floor, supporting continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.



The engineer will also help train production staff on procedures and contribute to cost reduction and capacity enhancement projects.

Qualifications

- Strong knowledge of Manufacturing Processes and Manufacturing Engineering, with the ability to design, analyze, and optimize production workflows.
- Background in Industrial Engineering, focusing on efficiency, capacity planning, and continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid foundation in Mechanical Engineering for equipment selection, maintenance collaboration, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.
- Practical understanding of Machining and related fabrication methods used in maintaining or modifying production equipment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience in food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing is preferred, with familiarity in quality control and food safety regulations.
- Proficiency in basic CAD tools, production planning software, and data analysis for process improvement.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively on-site in a fast-paced environment.
