Ammunition Trial & Test Leader is responsible for the Ammunition Trial & Testing at test sites, ensures rigorous validation, ballistics testing, and qualification of munitions.

He / She will engage in proof / ballistic test planning, test slot booking, liaison with PXE for storage, transportation and timely execution of all planned tests.

Acquire test results in time, interpret results and communication the same to all stake holders for timely actions.

Test Program Management

Co-ordinate comprehensive test plans for proof / ballistic test evaluation, environ-mental conditioning (vibration, shock, temperature), and energetic material qualification.

Complete proof / ballistic test program oversight: ensure regular activities, strict compliance with safety regula-tions, hazardous material (Hazmat) protocols, and environmental standards.

Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze ballistic data (velocity, pressure, accuracy, and lethality etc),



and report received from test range and discuss / communicate the same with stake holders.

Compliance & Standards: Ensure all testing methodologies align with led down standards; government, defense, and industry standards.

Supervise conduct performance testing to measure burn rate, detonation velocity, sensitivity, and thermal stabil-ity.

Team Leadership: Mentor and train ballistics technicians and team members.

Perform failure analysis to identify defects and improve system reliability.

Record and maintain accurate test data, reports, and documentation.

Ensure adherence to regulatory standards such as PESO and STEC guidelines

Conduct explosives related audits, inspections and investigations as required by Explosives Coordinator.

Co-ordination of explosives deliveries, transport, issuing and destruction through planning, scheduling
