Role Overview

Ananth Technologies is looking for an experienced SMT Production Line Manager to lead the operation of its SMT manufacturing line in Bengaluru. The candidate will be responsible for production planning, process control, quality, yield, equipment utilisation, manpower, and on-time delivery of high-reliability electronic assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day operations of the complete SMT line, including solder paste printing, SPI, pick-and-place, reflow, AOI, X-ray, and rework.
- Plan and execute production to meet quality and delivery targets.
- Improve productivity, yield, cycle time, and machine utilisation.
- Lead troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions for production issues.
- Manage NPI, prototype, low-volume/high-mix, and serial production.
- Ensure compliance with ESD, workmanship, traceability,



process documentation, and aerospace/defence quality requirements.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Materials, and Program teams.
- Lead and develop production engineers, supervisors, technicians, and operators.

Preferred Experience

- 10+ years of experience in SMT/electronics manufacturing, with experience managing an SMT production line.
- Robust hands-on knowledge of SMT equipment and processes.
- Experience in aerospace, defence, space, or other high-reliability electronics manufacturing.
- Candidates who have handled production for BEL, ISRO, DRDO, or other defence/space customers will be preferred.
- Familiarity with IPC standards, AS9100, Lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement is desirable.

Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related discipline.
