Accelya is seeking an experienced Manager - Software Development to guide and coach a team of software developers, providing project management and technical leadership for every aspect of software delivery, from new products to upgrades. You will take a hands-on role in software development, driving excellence and innovation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Develop and prepare a high-performing software development team.
- Guide and coach software engineers.
- Establish standards and processes along with best practices for delivery of scalable and high-quality software.
- Understand how products would add value to respective businesses.
- Ensure top-quality design reviews attaining business goals.
- Supervise resource allocation to assure business and personnel development goals.
- Manage and execute software development projects from beginning to finish.
- Evaluate projects, develop and update schedules, plus supervise project status.

Knowledge, Experience & Skills:





- Proven experience of leading a team (15+ people).
- Proven ability of tackling challenging projects.
- Strong Technical background in software development.
- Experience of working and managing in an Agile setting.
- Highly knowledgeable in engineering processes and methodologies.
- Experience with unit testing and end-to-end testing.
- Skills: Full Stack Java/NodeJS, JavaScript.
- Knowledge of Generative AI.
- Knowledge of measuring KPIs.
- Knowledge of AWS/cloud computing.

Education:

- Bachelor's Degree in engineering.

Experience:

- 9-15 years, with experience managing a team of 15+ people.
