We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Purchase Assistant Manager to manage and oversee procurement activities for our educational institution. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in school purchasing, vendor management, and inventory control, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of supplies and services.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement processes for school supplies, equipment, AMC, Civil services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to optimize cost savings.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to forecast purchasing needs.
- Ensure compliance with vendor audits and assessment.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor performance.




- Collaborate with finance and administrative teams to manage budgets and reporting.
- Evaluate and improve purchasing systems and procedures.

Skills and Qualities

- Graduate, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing/procurement, preferably in a school or educational setting.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of inventory management and vendor evaluation techniques.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with educational procurement standards and practices.
- Experience with ERP systems or school management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
