Roles & responsibilities The Manager/Lead Data Engineer will be part of the GDC CRC team, working in a technical leadership role within the Audit Data & Analytics domain. The role requires expertise in data engineering, analytics, and visualization, along with the ability to develop and apply knowledge of KPMG's proprietary Data & Analytics tools and audit methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions and insights.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Azure Databricks, PySpark, and SQL to process large and complex datasets.

Develop and optimize Power BI dashboards, reports, datasets, semantic models, and DAX measures to enable self-service analytics.

Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation, validation, analysis, and reporting.

Leverage Alteryx to design and develop reusable workflows and macros for effective data preparation,



cleansing and transformation.

Design, develop, and deploy AI-powered agents/copilots using LLMs, RAG, Agentic AI frameworks

Design and develop business applications and workflow automation solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate to improve operational efficiency and user productivity.

Lead the end-to-end design, development, testing, deployment, and support of data & analytics solutions, ensuring adherence to SDLC.

Mentor team members through technical coaching, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing initiatives, fostering continuous learning.

Manage project deliverables, track progress, mitigate risks, and provide regular status updates to stakeholders and leadership.
