Role Description The Manager role at Auto Corrugator Private Ltd. is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. The Manager will oversee daily operations on the shop floor, coordinate production schedules, monitor quality standards, and ensure adherence to safety and compliance requirements. About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and responsible Plant Manager to oversee the complete operations of our corrugated box manufacturing plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production, quality, manpower, maintenance, inventory, safety, and timely dispatch, while ensuring efficient and cost-effective plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise day-to-day plant operations.

Plan and monitor production as per customer orders and delivery schedules.

- Ensure smooth operation of corrugation, printing, cutting, slotting,



stitching/gluing and related machinery.

Monitor production targets, machine efficiency, wastage and overall productivity.

Manage and allocate manpower across different production departments.

Ensure proper quality control of raw materials and finished corrugated boxes.

Coordinate with Purchase, Sales, Stores, Dispatch and Accounts teams.

Monitor inventory of paper, adhesive, ink, stitching material and other consumables.

Control production wastage and identify opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs.

Ensure regular machine maintenance and coordinate with maintenance teams for breakdowns.

Maintain production records, daily reports and other plant-related documentation.

Ensure compliance with safety procedures and workplace discipline.

Train, guide and motivate production staff and workers.

Handle production-related issues and take quick corrective actions.

Ensure finished goods are packed and dispatched on time.

Implement systems to improve productivity, quality and operational efficiency.

Maintain a clean, organized and safe manufacturing environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.

5–10 years of relevant experience in corrugated box, paper packaging or manufacturing plant operations.

Solid knowledge of corrugated box manufacturing processes and machinery.

Good leadership and manpower management skills.

Ability to handle production pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Knowledge of production planning, quality control and inventory management.

Basic knowledge of MS Excel and production reporting.

Good communication and coordination skills.
