About the Role

Leads mechanical procurement, equipment sizing, and vendor management for heavy water infrastructure projects. Drives techno-commercial negotiations, efficiency evaluations, and commercial risk controls to optimize project margins and ensure technical compliance.

Responsibilities

- Technical Leadership & Sizing: Evaluate complex process drawings, load lists, and working principles to finalize specs for heavy pumps, blowers, motors, and process machinery.
- Techno-Commercial Governance: Conduct lifecycle cost and brand efficiency analyses; lead commercial negotiations to drive cost savings and margin expansion.
- Budget & Commercial Control: Oversee PO/WO releases within approved project budgets and manage trade finance instruments (LCs, BGs, Bill Discounting).
- Compliance & Standards: Ensure strict adherence to IS codes, GST rules, e-Way bills, 3-way invoice matching, and inventory accounting.




- Vendor & Supply Risk Management: Expand strategic vendor networks, establish rate contracts, and manage supply chain risks to prevent site downtime.

- Qualifications B.Tech / B.E. (Mechanical)

Technical & Engineering

- Heavy Machinery: Pumps, blowers, motors, process equipment
- Design Evaluation: Load list auditing, efficiency optimization, IS codes
- Systems & Tools: MS Excel, MS Word, ERP (SAP/Tally)

Commercial & Financial
- Commercial Terms: LC, BG, Bill Discounting, Contract Negotiation
- Financial Compliance: GST, e-Way bills, Cost Variance Analysis
- Supply Management: Strategic Sourcing, TCO Analysis, Rate Contracts
