Role Description The Management Trainee role at TasteOfMoM is an on-site position based in Mengio, designed to prepare individuals for future leadership responsibilities within the organization. A Management Trainee will rotate through key operational areas such as front-of-house service, kitchen operations, inventory management, and basic administrative tasks to understand end-to-end store functioning. Day-to-day activities include supporting supervisors in staff scheduling, assisting with quality and hygiene checks, monitoring customer satisfaction, and helping implement promotional or seasonal initiatives.

The role also involves learning standard operating procedures, observing and reporting on process improvements, and actively participating in team meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications

- Strong interest in food service, hospitality, and operations management, with a willingness to learn all aspects of store and kitchen processes.

- Basic organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks, follow schedules, and support smooth daily operations.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset to observe workflows, identify issues, and suggest practical improvements.
- Ability to work on-site in Mengio, including flexible schedule, weekends, and peak seasons as needed.
- Comfort with using basic digital tools (e.g., point-of-sale systems, spreadsheets, messaging apps) or willingness to be trained.
- Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and a positive attitude toward teamwork and customer service.
- Educational background in business, hospitality, or a related field is beneficial but not mandatory; prior experience in food service or retail is a plus.
