Job Summary

MarcomNation is looking for a passionate and dedicated Makeup Artist Intern who is eager to build hands-on experience and work alongside celebrity makeup artist Tanya Gupta. This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in qualified makeup artistry, celebrity makeup, beauty campaigns, photoshoots, events, and the fashion and entertainment industry.

The selected intern will assist with makeup preparation, kit organization, client and artist coordination and on-set or event-related requirements. Candidates who perform well and demonstrate professionalism, creativity, and commitment may have the prospect to continue working with the team.

Compensation

- Paid internship.
- Earn approximately ₹10,000–₹15,000 per month, based on performance, responsibilities, and work quality discussed during interview.
- Additional opportunities may be available for interns who perform consistently and meet the team’s expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist Tanya Gupta and the makeup team during shoots.
- Prepare, organize, sanitize, and maintain makeup products, brushes, tools, and kits.
- Support makeup preparation, touch-ups, product selection, and backstage requirements.
- Coordinate professionally with clients, models, photographers, stylists, and production teams.
- Research makeup trends, products, techniques, and beauty references.
- Follow instructions carefully and complete assigned tasks on time.
- Maintain professional conduct, confidentiality, punctuality, and hygiene standards.
- Assist with packing, unpacking, and transporting makeup kits when required.

Requirements




- Basic knowledge of makeup application, skincare preparation, hygiene, and product usage.
- Genuine interest in pursuing a career as a professional or celebrity makeup artist.
- A certificate, course, or relevant training in makeup artistry is preferred but not mandatory.
- Previous experience assisting a makeup artist, working on shoots, or handling makeup kits will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of makeup tools, brushes, products, and sanitation practices.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work flexible schedule, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and event days when required.
- Ability to travel locally for shoots, events, and assignments if needed.
- Applicants should ideally have a portfolio, sample work, or social media profile showcasing their makeup skills.
