Job Title: Senior Manager/ Manager- Maintenance

Department: Plant Equipment Maintenance

Location: Baheri, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh

Reports to: General Manager - Plant

Supervises : a team of 10-15 professionals comprises of mechanical maintenance engineer, electrical maintenance engineer, skilled technicians/fitters, welder.

DIMENSIONS:

· Plant equipment /instrument reliability and asset management

· Budget/Economic control:

- Plant preventive maintenance budget incl. consumption [oil, grease, soft water etc.]
- Operational & capital spare budget

- Tools and tackles budget

- OEM Services maintenance budget
- Gas generation loss due to preventive and breakdown maintenance

· Manpower utilization and recruitment based on skill gap demand

MAINTENANCE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. BASIC ACCOUNTABILITY:

· Ensure plant equipment availability above 98% · Do preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance of all static and rotating electro-mechanical equipment, instruments

· Prepare item wise maintenance checklist / SOP and schedule as per O&M; manual of equipment & instruments

· Prepare item wise spare list for all equipment & instruments in software tools

· Track inventory and prepare purchase requisition of all spares and equipment

· Maintenance planning & scheduling: weekly, monthly, quarterly /bi-annual maintenance plans as per O&M; manual

· Independently troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, PLC, SCADA, instrumentation, and utility-related issues

· Ensure timely execution of planned shutdowns

· Provide hands-on guidance during critical breakdown situations

· Proactively engaged with internal team members & OEM for preventive & breakdown maintenance of major plant electrical equipment like Transformer [1-2 MVA], Siemens/ABB/Schneider LT Switchgear [415V], HT Switchgear [33kV], Metering system, OH/UG Transmission line from nearest substation [132/33 kV]

ADVANCE ACCOOUNTABILITY:





· Implementation of Total Productive Maintenance [TPM] methodology – 8 pillars

· Implement 5-S Foundation

· Implement 5M principle to eliminate repetitive failures through structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA)

· Safety & Compliance under TPM

· Ensure compliance with all safety standards and statutory requirements.

· Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions

· Drive LOTO, Permit-to-Work, electrical safety, and machine safety programs

· Lead safety training and awareness initiatives

· Develop maintenance technicians through in-house training and mentoring

· Conduct skill-gap analysis and external training programs

· Evaluate and implement automation and digitalization opportunities.

· Implementation of software for maintenance work (preventive, breakdown, spare)

SKILLS REQUIRED:

· Bachelor of Engineering degree in [Mechanical] preferably in Tier-2B/2C/3 Institution as per National Board of Accreditation [NBA]

· Must have secured 70% marks or 8 CGPA since Class 10 th standard onward till graduation/post-graduation

· 10-12 years’ experience in the medium production / manufacturing industry, of which four years would be at a managerial level.

· 4-5 years maintenance experience in CNG / Power/ Refinery/Chemical/Food Industry in Maintenance

· Commissioning experience of 2-3 years in the similar industry would be as asset

· Hand on exposure to mechanical maintenance/ electrical maintenance essential

MUST HAVE MAINTENANCE EXPERIENCE

- Troubleshooting, Preventive and Breakdown Maintenance of the following equipment

(a) Reciprocating & Screw Compressor (100-300 kW)

(b) Screw Compressors (30 kW – 50 kW)

(c) Progressive Cavity Pumps / Positive displacement Pumps (20 kW and above)

(d) Hot Water Generator / Boiler

(e) Mixer / Agitator (25 kW and above)

(f) Diesel Generator (500 kVA and above)

(g) Centrifugal pumps (30 kW and above)

(h) Transformer /DG/LT Switchgear [SUPPORT]
