Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Machinery Head to lead the overall management, maintenance, performance, and reliability of machinery and equipment. The role will be responsible for minimizing downtime, ensuring preventive and breakdown maintenance, controlling maintenance costs, and maintaining safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the complete machinery and equipment maintenance function.
- Plan and supervise preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
- Ensure maximum machinery availability and minimum unplanned downtime.
- Monitor machine performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.
- Diagnose machinery breakdowns and ensure timely corrective action.
- Lead and supervise maintenance engineers, technicians, and support staff.
- Coordinate with Production/Operations teams to plan maintenance activities without affecting production targets.
- Maintain records of machine history, maintenance activities, breakdowns, and spare-parts consumption.
- Manage critical spare parts, tools, and maintenance inventory.
- Coordinate with machinery suppliers, OEMs, contractors, and service providers.
- Review machinery installation, commissioning, modification, and replacement requirements.
- Prepare and manage the machinery maintenance budget and control maintenance costs.
- Identify opportunities for machine improvement, automation, energy efficiency,



and productivity enhancement.
- Ensure compliance with company safety policies and applicable statutory requirements.
- Conduct root-cause analysis for major and recurring machinery breakdowns.
- Establish and monitor maintenance KPIs and prepare periodic reports for senior management.
- Ensure proper documentation, SOPs, maintenance checklists, and technical records are maintained.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- 8–15 years of relevant experience in machinery maintenance/engineering.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and automation systems, as applicable.
- Experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Good knowledge of maintenance planning, spare-parts management, and cost control.
- Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
- Valuable knowledge of MS Excel and maintenance/CMMS software.
- Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.

- Preventive maintenance compliance.

- Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
- Mean Time To Repair (MTTR).

- Safety and statutory compliance.
- Overall machinery efficiency and reliability.

Pay: Up to ₹70,000.00 per month
