Position: Operations Manager / Lead – PAN India Network Strategy & Vendor Operations

Location: Navi Mumbai / Mumbai (Hybrid/Onsite)

Reporting To: DGM / Vice President – Business Operations

Job PurposeTo design, build, and manage a scalable, nationwide network of field verification executives and local agency partners across Tier-1, Tier-2, and Tier-3 cities in India. The primary objective is to build a reliable, rapid-response network capable of conducting on-site canine mortality verifications within strict SLA timelines (2–8 hours).

Key Responsibilities

- Network Expansion & Strategy: Identify, recruit, and onboard independent field executives, local surveyors, and regional ground partners across all major regions in India to ensure 100% geographic coverage.
- - Vendor & Executive Onboarding: Negotiate pay-per-incident rates, establish contracts, and ensure background verification (BGV) for all field personnel.
- - SLA & Field Performance Management: Monitor field executive response times, tracking dispatch within 2 hours and on-site arrivals within 4–8 hours to meet client SLAs.
- - Training & SOP Compliance: Conduct regular training on RFID scanner usage, microchip identification, geo-tagged mobile app workflows, and empathetic owner interactions.
- - Logistics & Inventory Control: Manage the procurement and distribution of universal RFID microchip readers and mobile application credentials across the network.
- - Quality Assurance & Audit: Review field data submission quality (photos,



documents, statements) and perform random quality audits to prevent fraudulent field reports.

- Candidate Profile & QualificationsEducation & Technical Skills

- Degree: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant fields (MBA/Post Graduation is a plus).
- - Tech Literacy: High proficiency in field-force tracking software, CRM tools, GPS/mobile app management, and Excel dashboarding.

- Work Experience

- Experience Level: 5 to 8 years of relevant operational experience.
- - Industry Background: Operations or network management experience in insurance field operations, claims investigation networks, gig-economy logistics (hyperlocal delivery), fintech field-verification (KYC/FCU), or loss assessment firms.
- - Track Record: Proven capability of building a PAN India field/vendor network from the ground up or significantly scaling an existing gig/vendor network.

- Core Competencies

- Vendor Negotiation: Robust commercial acumen to manage per-incident payout models profitably.
- - Vendor & Field Operations: Expert in managing distributed, non-payroll gig workers or third-party agencies.
- - Problem-Solving & Agility: Capability to handle emergency or remote-location verification requests at short notice.
- - Multilingual Skills: Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory; knowledge of regional languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali) is a strong advantage.
