Role OverviewThe Logistics Associate will be responsible for managing end-to-end import and export shipments while ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and documentation requirements. The role involves close coordination with freight forwarders, customs brokers, clearing agents, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely and cost-effective movement of goods across international markets.

Key Responsibilities

Import s Export Operations

- Manage end-to-end import and export shipment processes.
- Coordinate domestic and international freight movements.
- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely delivery.
- Resolve shipment delays and operational issues proactively.

Documentation s Trade Compliance

- Prepare and verify shipping documents including Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin, Export Declarations, ATR Certificates, Bills of Lading, Air Waybills, and other required documentation.
- Ensure documentation complies with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
- Maintain accurate shipment records and documentation.

Customs s Freight Coordination

- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and clearing agents for smooth customs clearance.
- Ensure timely completion of origin and destination customs formalities.




- Track shipments and follow up on pending clearances.

Client s Stakeholder Management

- Communicate shipment updates and exceptions to clients.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external logistics partners to ensure seamless operations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with logistics service providers and customers.

Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities to improve logistics processes, reduce operational risks, and optimize transportation costs.
- Support the implementation of process improvements and operational best practices.
- Contribute to cross-functional projects that enhance supply chain efficiency.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
- Postgraduate qualification in Supply Chain or Logistics is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, import/export operations, or supply chain management.

Required Skills Strong knowledge of import and export documentation.

Understanding of international logistics, freight forwarding, and customs clearance procedures.

Knowledge of international trade compliance.

Experience coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and clearing agents.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Experience working with ERP systems is preferred.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
