ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Lead IoT Platform Engineer with strong expertise in Java 17+, IoT platforms, AWS and AWS IoT Core. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable IoT solutions and leading technical development.

MUST-HAVE SKILLS

- 10–16 years overall experience
- Java 17+ development
- 3+ years relevant IoT experience
- 3+ years hands-on AWS IoT Core
- Solid AWS Cloud expertise
- IoT platform architecture & development
- Java backend development
- REST APIs & Microservices
- Cloud-native application development
- Strong troubleshooting skills

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Design and develop scalable IoT platforms
- Build backend services using Java 17+
- Develop and integrate AWS IoT Core solutions
- Design IoT communication and data-processing workflows
- Build secure and reliable cloud-based applications
- Lead technical design, development and integration
- Troubleshoot production and platform issues
- Collaborate with engineering teams
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship
