Role Description – Senior Software Engineer (Java, Spring Boot) Experience: 12+ Years

Role Overview We are looking for a passionate Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to design and build scalable backend applications for enterprise-grade digital platforms. The ideal candidate should have experience developing secure, high-performance APIs, cloud-native applications, and distributed systems while mentoring engineering teams in an Agile workplace.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build secure and high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Develop cloud-native applications and deploy them on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Design and implement containerized solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Build event-driven applications using GCP Pub/Sub or similar messaging platforms.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and Jenkins.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
- Develop unit and integration tests using JUnit, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks.
- Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and performance optimization.
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and drive continuous improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and Architects.




- Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices.

Required Skills

- 12+ years of experience in Java backend development.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices.
- Experience building RESTful APIs with a focus on performance and security.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong knowledge of GitHub, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Redis or other distributed caching technologies.
- Hands-on experience with messaging platforms such as GCP Pub/Sub or Kafka.
- Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.

Good to Have

- Experience in Retail or eCommerce applications.
- Knowledge of React.js, Next.js, or JavaScript-based web technologies.
- Experience with cloud-native architecture and distributed systems.
- Performance tuning and monitoring of enterprise applications.
- Experience with SpannerDB, Cosmos DB, or similar cloud databases.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
