Role Description
Telecom Specialist –
- Network Domain SME
: Bangalore, Gurgaon
We are looking for an experienced Telecom Network Domain SME with strong expertise in Radio Access Network (RAN) technologies, 4G/5G, end-to-end network performance, OSS platforms, and KPI analysis.
The role will provide technical guidance to data scientists and software development teams in interpreting telecom data and defining AI/ML and agentic solutions for network performance, optimization, and operations. The position does not require hands-on software development, but requires a robust understanding of telecom concepts, OSS data, network analytics, and performance management.

Telecom &
- RAN Expertise
- Strong understanding of RAN technologies, including 2G/3G/4G/LTE/5G concepts, architecture, and interfaces.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end network domains, network performance, and optimization.
- Deep knowledge of RAN KPIs, performance metrics, and KPI validation.
- Strong understanding of Configuration Management (CM), Performance Management (PM), and Fault Management (FM).
- Hands-on experience interpreting OSS platform data structures and performance data.
- Strong knowledge of telecom/network optimization methodologies.
- Experience with network performance troubleshooting, anomaly identification, root-cause analysis, and optimization.
- Experience with Nokia and/or Ericsson OSS platforms is highly preferred.

- Deployment Experience
- Experience supporting major global operators such as Airtel, AT&T;, T-Mobile, Dish, Jio, or similar Tier-1 operators.
- Experience with enterprise and large-scale carrier deployments.
- Proven experience delivering telecom solutions from network optimization through operational deployment.
- Experience working in large, complex, multi-vendor network environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze RAN performance data and identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.
- Provide technical expertise on CM/PM/FM OSS data and telecom data structures.
- Support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for network-related issues.
- Validate network KPIs and performance reports.
- Lead or support network optimization initiatives across enterprise and large-scale carrier deployments.
- Collaborate with software developers and data scientists to develop:
- Performance reports
- Network analytics solutions
- AI/ML use cases
- Agentic AI solutions for telecom operations
- Translate telecom operational requirements into actionable technical specifications.
- Provide technical guidance on interpretation of network and OSS data.
- Ensure end-to-end alignment between network requirements, analytics solutions, and operational deployments.
- Prepare and review technical reports, dashboards, and performance insights for stakeholders.
- Mentor junior team members on OSS platforms, network optimization, and telecom technologies.
- Support continuous improvement of network performance and operational efficiency.

Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate will have 7–10+ years of telecom/RAN experience and demonstrate:

- Proven expertise in network performance, KPI analysis, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- Experience working with global Tier-1 operators or large enterprise deployments.
- Ability to bridge the gap between telecom operations, data science, software engineering, and AI/ML teams.
- Experience translating network requirements into analytics and AI-driven solutions.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end network performance and operational deployment.
- Ability to provide technical leadership without necessarily being a software developer.
