About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Lead Data Engineer with strong Microsoft Fabric experience to lead the design, development, and implementation of modern data platforms and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Services, data engineering, ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehousing, and data architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the design and development of scalable data engineering solutions using Microsoft Fabric.
- Develop and manage Fabric Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory/Data Pipelines, Notebooks and OneLake solutions.
- Design and implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
- Build and optimize data models, data warehouses, and data lakes for enterprise analytics.
- Work extensively with SQL, Python and PySpark for data transformation and processing.
- Optimize data pipelines and queries for performance, scalability and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with Data Architects, BI Developers, Business Analysts and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead technical discussions, code reviews and best-practice implementation within the data engineering team.
- Mentor junior and mid-level data engineers and provide technical guidance.
- Support the development of Power BI datasets and analytics solutions where required.
- Ensure solutions follow enterprise standards for security, governance, documentation and deployment.
- Troubleshoot complex data pipeline and integration issues and ensure timely resolution.





Required Skills & Experience
- 13-17 years of experience in Data Engineering, with significant experience in leading data engineering initiatives. (Do not apply with less than 11yrs of experience).
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric is mandatory.
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse, OneLake, Data Factory/Data Pipelines and Fabric Data Warehouse.
- Strong knowledge of Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Synapse Analytics or related Azure data services.
- Excellent proficiency in SQL.
- Strong programming experience in Python and/or PySpark.
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, data warehousing, dimensional modelling and data integration.
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and distributed data processing.
- Knowledge of Power BI and Microsoft ecosystem will be an advantage.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git and DevOps practices.
- Strong understanding of data governance, security, data quality and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication, analytical and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Microsoft certifications such as Fabric Analytics Engineer, Azure Data Engineer or related certifications.
- Experience in Oil & Gas, Energy, Manufacturing or other enterprise environments is preferred.
- Experience leading data migration, modernization or cloud transformation projects.
- Prior experience managing or mentoring a team of data engineers.

What We’re Looking For: We are looking for someone who is not only technically strong but can own the end-to-end data engineering lifecycle, provide technical leadership, and drive the adoption of contemporary Microsoft Fabric-based data solutions.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹3,500,000.00 per year
