Role Description The Lead 3D Artist is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad, responsible for driving the visual direction and quality of 3D assets for VR, AR, and mixed reality experiences. This role involves leading the 3D art pipeline, creating high-quality models, textures, lighting setups, and rigs that are optimized for real-time engines. The Lead 3D Artist will collaborate closely with designers, developers, and project managers to translate creative concepts into immersive, interactive environments and characters.

Daily tasks include overseeing asset creation,



reviewing and refining team outputs, maintaining consistent art standards, and ensuring assets integrate smoothly into Unreal Engine or Unity3D. The role also includes mentoring junior artists, contributing to workflow improvements, and participating in client reviews to align visual deliverables with project goals.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess robust skills in 3D Modeling and Blender for creating and refining detailed assets and environments.
- Candidates should possess solid Texturing and Lighting skills to deliver visually compelling, optimized materials and scenes for real-time rendering.
- Candidates should possess Rigging expertise to prepare characters and objects for animation and interactive use in VR/AR applications.
- Candidates should have experience working with real-time game engines such as Unreal Engine and Unity3D.
- Candidates should demonstrate a strong portfolio of 3D work, ideally including VR/AR or game projects.
- Candidates should have the ability to lead and mentor a 3D art team, manage deadlines, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A relevant degree or diploma in Animation, Game Design, Visual Arts, or a related field is preferred, along with familiarity with industry-standard workflows and optimization techniques.
