Role Description The Laboratory Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad, responsible for supporting diagnostic and rehabilitation services through accurate laboratory testing. The role includes operating, calibrating, and maintaining laboratory equipment, performing routine and specialized tests related to laboratory medicine, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and quality standards.

The Laboratory

Specialist will prepare samples, manage reagents and consumables, document test results in laboratory information systems,



and collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to provide timely and reliable data for patient care. Daily responsibilities also include participating in quality control processes, troubleshooting technical issues, following standard operating procedures, and assisting in continuous improvement initiatives within the laboratory.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated proficiency in Laboratory Equipment handling and general Laboratory Skills, including sample preparation and instrument operation.
- Strong Analytical Skills and experience in Quality Control to ensure accuracy, reliability, and compliance with laboratory standards.
- Knowledge of Laboratory Medicine principles, test methodologies, and interpretation of results in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field; professional certification or registration as per local regulations is an advantage.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems, documentation practices, and infection control protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team, with clear communication skills and a focus on patient-centered care.
- Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage workload in a quick-paced clinical environment.
- Prior experience in a hospital or rehabilitation center laboratory is preferred.
