Role Description The Lab Scientist – Analytical Development role is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad.

The Scientist – Analytical Development is responsible for planning, executing, and documenting scientific experiments for drug substances (DS) and drug products (DP). The role ensures compliance with laboratory standards, supports multifunctional project teams, and contributes to efficient, sustainable laboratory operations.

The individual in this role will design, develop, and optimize analytical methods to support pharmaceutical and healthcare research projects. Daily responsibilities include performing laboratory experiments, operating and maintaining analytical instruments, preparing and analyzing samples, and documenting results in accordance with established protocols and quality standards.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, interpreting data to draw meaningful conclusions, and contributing to method validation and troubleshooting. The Lab Scientist will also support preparation of technical reports, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines, and participate in continuous improvement of laboratory processes.

Key Responsibilities





- Scientific Experimentation Plan, perform, and document experiments related to analytical method development, validation, transfer, stability studies, release testing, and formulation development analytics.
- Laboratory Operations Contribute to day‑to‑day laboratory activities, including instrument maintenance, calibration, and operational support. Ensure timely execution of project deliverables.
- Data Management Accountable for accurate documentation and submission of raw data in appropriate systems (e.g., LIMS test activation and results entry).
- Compliance & Quality Uphold Valuable Documentation Practices (GDP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) during all laboratory activities. Ensure adherence to agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Sustainability & Efficiency Implement lean, efficient, and environmentally sustainable practices within laboratory workflows.
- Communication & Collaboration Proactively communicate key issues, risks, and updates to managers and project team members in a timely manner.
- Performance Metrics Responsible for meeting Key Quality Indicators (KQI) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for all assigned activities.

Essential Requirements

- Education: M.Pharm. / M.Sc. with up to 6 years of relevant experience in analytical development or related domains.

Technical Expertise:

- Chromatography (HPLC/UPLC, GC)
- Dissolution Testing
- Method Development
- Method Validation
- Method Transfer
- GLP compliance

Skills: Strong analytical problem‑solving, documentation accuracy, and ability to work collaboratively in multifunctional teams.
