## Overview

We are looking for a proactive and highly responsive L1 Production Support Analyst to join our global Fixed Income Technology Support team.

The role will provide first-line support for trading applications used by Rates and Investment Grade Credit trading desks across the APAC region, primarily supporting traders in Tokyo and Singapore. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring platform health, managing production incidents, troubleshooting application issues, and ensuring a stable trading environment.

## Key Responsibilities

### Trading Application Support

- Provide first-line support for the ION Fixed Income trading platform and associated applications.
- Support front-office users including Rates and Investment Grade Credit traders.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents impacting trading, pricing, trade capture, and downstream trade flows.
- Monitor trading workflows and identify issues before they affect business users.
- Escalate incidents promptly to Level 2 support, development teams, infrastructure teams, or external vendors when required.

### Platform Monitoring & Operations
- Monitor application, server, and infrastructure health across the trading platform ecosystem.
- Monitor batch jobs, interfaces, trade feeds, and market data connectivity.
- Review system alerts and take appropriate action based on defined operational procedures.
- Perform start-of-day and end-of-day health checks.
- Ensure critical trading services remain available during market hours.

### Incident & Problem Management
- Manage incidents from identification through resolution.




- Communicate effectively with traders and support teams during outages and service degradation.
- Maintain clear records of incidents, actions taken, escalations, and resolutions.
- Follow up on outstanding issues and ensure closure within agreed service levels.
- Assist with root cause investigations and post-incident reviews.

### Stakeholder Communication
- Build strong working relationships with traders, technology teams, and operations teams.
- Provide timely updates on production issues and service incidents.
- Demonstrate ownership and accountability throughout the support lifecycle.

## Required Skills & Experience

### Business Knowledge

- Good understanding of Fixed Income products, including:
- Government Bonds / Treasuries
- Interest Rate Swaps
- Corporate Bonds
- Investment Grade Credit products
- Understanding of the trade lifecycle and front-office trading environment.
- Awareness of electronic trading workflows and market data concepts.

### Technical Skills
- Experience supporting the ION Fixed Income trading platform is strongly preferred.
- Solid Linux troubleshooting and operational support skills.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Ability to write SQL queries for analysis and troubleshooting.
- Ability to analyze logs, error messages, and application alerts.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools, production support processes, and incident management practices.
- Understanding of interfaces, trade feeds, and STP processes is desirable.

## Preferred Qualifications

- 5 years of Production Support / Application Support experience.
- Experience supporting Front Office trading applications.
- Exposure to Fixed Income trading environments.
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, or similar trading platforms.
- Basic scripting knowledge (Shell, Python, or PowerShell) is advantageous.
