Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Kinaxis RapidResponse Tech Lead to join our supply chain technology team on a paid contract basis for 6–12 months.

This role is responsible for the design, development, configuration, and support of Kinaxis RapidResponse solutions that power our end-to-end supply chain planning processes. You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional consultants, and IT teams to translate supply chain requirements into robust, scalable technical solutions.

This role is based in Pune, India, with an onsite requirement for the first two weeks, transitioning to remote work thereafter, and reports to the Supply Chain Technology Manager / IT Lead.

Responsibilities

Implementation and Development

- Design, configure, and develop Kinaxis RapidResponse modules including Master Planning, Order Management, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and S&OP;
- Build and maintain Worksheets, Control Tables, Alerts, Exception Management rules,



and Scorecards within the RapidResponse environment
- Develop custom business logic using RapidResponse Scripting Language (RSL) and formulas
- Create and manage data integration pipelines between Kinaxis and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) using REST/SOAP APIs and connectors
- Build dashboards and analytical views for supply chain KPI tracking and reporting

Configuration and Administration

- Manage the RapidResponse environment, including site configuration, user access, partitioning, and scenario management
- Perform version upgrades, patch management, and environment migrations (DEV → QA → PROD)
- Configure data-load workbooks and maintain data integrity across planning hierarchies

Collaboration and Support

- Work directly with supply chain planners, demand managers, and business analysts to gather and validate requirements
- Provide L2/L3 application support, troubleshoot production issues, and manage ticket resolution within agreed SLAs
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and runbooks
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives




- Mentor junior developers and support onboarding of new team members

Required Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field

Experience

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse as a developer or technical consultant
- Proven experience in at least two full-cycle Kinaxis implementations, from requirements gathering to go-live
- Experience integrating Kinaxis with ERP platforms such as SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, Oracle EBS, or Microsoft Dynamics
- Familiarity with supply chain planning concepts: S&OP;, MRP, DRP, demand sensing, and inventory optimization

Technical Skills

- Proficiency in RSL (RapidResponse Scripting Language), formulas, and table configurations
- Solid understanding of the Kinaxis data model: Parts, Resources, Sites, Orders, Demands, and Supplies
- Experience with REST/SOAP web services, XML/JSON data formats, and API integration patterns
- Working knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and ETL principles

Preferred Qualifications

- Kinaxis RapidResponse Certification (Foundation, Intermediate, or Advanced) strongly preferred
- Experience with multi-site, multi-echelon supply chain network configurations
- Knowledge of Python or JavaScript for data transformation and automation scripts
- Exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and cloud-hosted Kinaxis deployments
- Experience working in FMCG, High-Tech, Automotive, or Manufacturing industries
