Job Summary

We are looking for a Kibo OMS Software Engineer with 3–5 years of experience who can work across Kibo OMS functional areas, backend development, customization, integrations, and application support.

The candidate should have a strong understanding of Order Management System concepts and Kibo OMS functionality, along with hands-on backend development experience to develop custom business logic, integrations, APIs, and extensions.

The role will involve both development of new customizations and production/application support, including analysis and resolution of functional and technical issues.

Key Responsibilities

Kibo OMS – Functional

- Strong understanding of Kibo OMS functionality and order lifecycle.
- Understand and troubleshoot order processing, fulfillment, cancellations, returns, refunds, payments, inventory and related OMS processes.
- Understand Kibo OMS configuration and how different OMS components interact.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into Kibo OMS solutions.
- Work closely with functional teams, business users and other technical teams to understand requirements and production issues.
- Investigate functional issues by tracing the order lifecycle and identifying the point of failure.
- Understand Kibo OMS workflows, business rules and platform capabilities.
- Support configuration changes and functional enhancements where required.

Backend Development & Customization
- Develop custom backend functionality on/around Kibo OMS based on business requirements.
- Develop and maintain REST APIs and integrations with external systems.
- Implement custom business logic, validations, workflows and extensions.




- Work with Kibo APIs and platform services to extend standard OMS functionality.
- Develop integrations between Kibo OMS and systems such as e-commerce platforms, ERP, WMS, payment systems, inventory systems and other third-party applications.
- Debug and troubleshoot existing custom code and integrations.
- Write clean, maintainable and reusable backend code.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing and deployment activities.

Production / Application Support

- Provide L2/L3 application support for Kibo OMS.
- Analyze production incidents and identify root causes.
- Troubleshoot order, fulfillment, inventory, payment, return and integration issues.
- Analyze application logs, API requests/responses and database information to troubleshoot issues.
- Identify whether an issue is related to Kibo configuration, custom code, integration, data or an external system.
- Provide workarounds and permanent fixes for production issues.
- Monitor recurring issues and identify opportunities for automation or permanent resolution.
- Participate in incident, problem and change management processes.
- Support deployments and production releases.
- Prepare technical documentation and root-cause analysis for critical issues.

Required Technical Skills

Must Have

- 3–5 years of software development / application support experience.
- Hands-on Kibo OMS experience.
- Strong functional knowledge of Kibo OMS.
- Good understanding of Order Management concepts and order lifecycle.
- Experience with:

o Orders o Fulfillment o Inventory o Payments o Cancellations o Returns / Refunds o Shipping o Order status and lifecycle o Integrations
- Proficiency in Java or any object-oriented programming language
- Strong backend development experience.
- Experience developing custom functionality for an OMS/e-commerce platform.
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and API integrations.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues.
- Good understanding of application logs and debugging.
- Valuable SQL/database knowledge.
- Experience with Git or similar source-control systems.
