About the Role The Krendra Manager will oversee the end-to-end functioning of BharatRohan s local centre, ensuring seamless store operations, efficient handling of agri-inputs, farmer engagement, sales growth, and coordination between field, remotesensing, and centralteams. The role demands a blend of operational management, agronomy understanding, customer service, and business development capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Store &
- InventoryManagement
- - Manage day-to-day operations of the Krendra,ensuring smooth functioning of the sales counter and service desk.
- Maintain accurate stocklevels of agri-inputs, consumables, and centreassets.
- Ensure timely stock replenishment, proper storage conditions, and compliance with safety norms.
- Track goods movement, maintainregisters, billing, and daily salesrecords.
1. Customer Engagement &
- Issue Resolution
- - Serve as the primarypoint of contactfor farmers visitingthe centre.
- Address farmer queries and resolve complaints within defined timelines.
- Conduct regular on-field visits to verify issues and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
- Minimize repeat complaints throughproactive follow-up and support.
1. Farm Monitoring &
- Advisory Execution
- - Monitor assigned farms and ensure delivery of timely agronomicadvisory.
- Facilitate adoption of recommended agri-inputs, IPM/INM/IWM practices, and other crop-management measures.
- Support farmers in understanding recommendations received through BharatRohan s services.
1. Support to RemoteSensing &
- SpectralAnalysis Teams
- - Collect accurate geo-tagged field data as required for spectral librarydevelopment.
- Ensure precision in ground-truthing activities, enabling reliableanalysis.
- Convert prescription maps into transparent, actionable field recommendations for farmers.
1. Farmer Training &
- Technology Transfer
- - Organize farmer meetings,demonstrations, and trainingsessions at the centre or in the field.
- Drive participation from target growersand encourage adoptionof provided technologies and tools.
- Measure the impactand effectiveness of conducted trainingprograms.
1. Business Development &
- Outreach
- - Mobilize new farmersto onboard BharatRohan s services and expandthe centre s reach.
- Conduct field campaigns, awarenessdrives, and targetedengagement activities.
- Track and improve conversion rates from outreachto service adoption.
1. Collaborative Operations
- - Work closely with UAV teams, Remote SensingEngineers, and Agronomyteams to execute cross-functional tasks.
- Ensure timely implementation of joint advisories or operational plans.
- Address and resolve inter-team coordination issues efficiently.
1. Strategic Planning &Process; Optimization
- - Identify bottlenecks in operations and recommend improvements for faster turnaround.
- Implement new tools, processes, or SOPs to enhance fieldand centre productivity.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure 100% compliance with all SOPs.
1. Stakeholder Coordination &
- Reporting
- - Maintain strong relationships with farmers, internalteams, and projectleads.
- Provide timely reports, dashboards, and updates as per communication schedules.
- Address stakeholder concerns within agreed timelines and maintain satisfaction levels.
1. Sales &
- Revenue Growth
- - Drive agri-input sales from the Krendra and achieve assignedquarterly and annual revenue targets.
- Improve sales conversion rates year-on-year and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
- Monitor demand trends, farmer buying behaviour, and optimize productofferings accordingly.
Required Skills &
Qualifications
- - Bachelor s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, or relatedfields.
- 2-5 years of experience in agri-input sales,field operations, or rural customer-facing roles.
- Strong understanding of crop cycles, plantprotection, and agri-inputs.
- Good communication skills in local languageand comfort with farmer interactions.
- Ability to use mobileapps, digital tools,and basic MS Office.
- Willingness to travel for field visitsfrequently.
